Props All Around
Just want to give a shout out to everyone for pushing hard in the gym this week and consistently showing up for classes. I know a lot of hardcore CrossFitters that would cringe at the thought of doing all these benchmarks in a week. I hope everyone is proud of themselves and feeling that burn that comes with each of the named workouts. :)
Speaking of props - we wanted to acknowledge one of our gym members who has really taken accountability for his life, fitness level and commitment to health. David Taylor is one of our evening class attendees and you've probably seen him at the gym working his way through a WOD without ever complaining or shying away from a challenge. He's one of those people who works hard and pushes himself every single time he's in the box. What many of you may not know is that fitness hasn't always come so naturally for David. His story was recently featured on Fit2Fat2Fit and we thought it would be great to share with everyone at LCS as well. Alright, now that we're all inspired I hope you bring some of that motivation into the gym today for Harkey. Should be a piece of cake compared to the workouts we've been busting through!
