Lift Up Luke - Saturday WOD

Happy Weekend!

I know we were scheduled to do the Hated Hundreds workout today, but we recently learned of a CrossFit community workout happening this weekend and thought it would be great for us all to participate. It's called "Lift Up Luke" and it's an Autism awareness WOD that CrossFit boxes around the nation will all be doing on October 19. Autism impacts 1 in 88 children and the WOD is meant to bring awareness, understanding and information about early detection to the masses.

Unfortunately we didn't hear about it early enough to really plan a fundraising drive, but those of you who wish to donate to the $50,000 goal CrossFit set can do so at the Autism Tree Project Foundation website. The gym will be making a small donation on behalf of everyone, so we're really just looking for you to come, hit the WOD hard and have fun.

Lift Up Luke is a benefit workout uniting CrossFitters and Athletes around the world to support Autism awareness. Every family is in some way, shape, or form touched by autism. If you don't know someone with autism, you will. Autism impacts 1 in every 88 children.
